e-Vermont Communities

e-Vermont communitiesFrom 2010-2012, e-Vermont partners worked with 24 rural Vermont communities to help them make best use of available broadband resources. In each town, VCRD Community Directors collaborated with local steering committees to identify priorities and carry out a one-year workplan based on those priorities. This work included both a suite of partner services that touched on multiple facets of community life and individualized projects built in response to specific local goals.

Although e-Vermont is no longer accepting town applications, we hope that our toolkits, partner services, and stories are useful to all Vermont communities.

The following links provide summaries of what each community accomplished after their first year. You can also read e-Vermont stories from across the state on our community stories page.
