21st Century Learning

Digital Wish brings 1:1 computing to 4th – 6th grade classrooms in all e-Vermont communities. 1:1 computing means a computer and Internet access for every student and teacher in the participating classroom. In this program, it also means intensive teacher training, curriculum designed to highlight technology as a tool for learning, projects that reach beyond school walls, and the chance for students to be creative leaders shaping their own education. Digital Wish designed its school modernization initiative after carefully studying work happening in classrooms across the country. Just as the lessons they learned in that process shaped their e-Vermont work, they are bringing the lessons learned in e-Vermont to anyone interested in how to make meaningful change in the role of technology in schools.
