e-Government

The Snelling Center for Government worked directly with e-Vermont communities to help municipal governments use online tools to engage with their citizens. The collaboration, research, and site development undertaken in these 24 towns led to a guide to municipal website development as well as a Wordpress-based municipal website template. Contact the Snelling Center for Government for more information on the template.

You can see examples of sites developed during e-Vermont here:

  • Bristol
  • Brighton
  • Cambridge
  • Castleton
  • Fairfield
  • Middlesex
  • Moretown
  • Pownal
  • Sandgate
  • Sunderland
  • Westfield
  • Canaan (updated with Snelling Center assistance)

In addition to work with municipalities, the Snelling Center for Government helped share lessons learned through e-Vermont and craft a vision for Vermont's digital future through organizing regional workshops and a statewide e-Vermont conference. See the report from our final conference here.
